God sees the truth, but waits

                                            by Leo Tolstoy

Summary: Aksionov is a ordinary good person who had send to prison for the uncommitted murder. And he spend rest of his life in prison. In this story we can interpret in various ways through literary criticism.

Those are:

  •    Eco criticism
  •    Psycho criticism
  •    Sociology criticism

Eco Criticism:

Eco or Environment criticism. In this novella when the Marakar tells to Aksionov that he will confess the truth to the judge about the murder committed by him and accept the mistake. But Aksionov said not to do like that because we don't know whether his children will accept him or not and he speaks about the time when he left his house his children were too small and he doesn't know whether they do remember his name. Not only that he thought what will the society speak about his children and his return. The much more thought about his family and environment.

Psycho Criticism:

This psycho criticism is widely spoken and written in so many works. In this work we can look into different psychological character. Aksionov's wife who warned him before he starts his journey towards fair. She indicated him that she dreamt of bad dream about him.
Then It's Aksionov who accepted the guilt for which he haven't committed it.
Marakar who had committed the mistake but he could not able to accept it so he keeps the  knife in Aksionov bags and he was sent to prison.

Sociology criticism:

It is something which is injustices done to one good soul. In this novella
Aksionov who is a good soul but he was punished for the mistake which he haven't committed it.

This are the various criticism I have illustrated from this novella.
