Then vs Now

      My write up is comparison through novel of then vs now. I had chosen to write about the novel Namesake which is written by jhumpa lahiri. The perception of this book is different from one another. My view of this book is about relationship and communication.

  The content behind the novel is the identity of the first generation born and brought up in other country. They are really facing a lot many problem it maybe anything for that matter still in many countries even staying for more than 2 generation people find it difficult to identify their identity.

 In this novel there are many such small incident which is not the same now. In beginning  of the novel there would be lots of trouble for the couples to connect with their parents and relative in India it maybe via call,mail or post. To make call he or she need to wait for a week but the situation have changed now completely anyone in this world from any corner they can call or chat with anyone. Even the transportation was not that easy for them. To board flight or bus it is not easy they must be on time.To transport in that particular area as a new citizen they need to wait for along because of unfamiliar with that areas transportation condition. But now many country has started to provide enough of public service and guidance through which people can go anywhere at anytime.This is my small thought of then vs now from this novel.
