குறள் 31-35 அறன்வலியுறுத்தல்.

Tamil and English translation with Example.

Tamil                         சிறப்புஈனும் செல்வமும் ஈனும் அறத்தினூஉங்கு 

                                     ஆக்கம் எவனோ உயிர்க்கு.

Translation             It yields distinction, yields prosperity; what gain

                                     Greater than virtue can a living man obtain?

Example               When everyone stand against the virtue if your the single person to follow it don't                                            hesitate to follow because it is the beautiful and it is a biggest wealth in the world

Tamil                       அறத்தினூஉங்கு ஆக்கமும் இல்லை அதனை 

                                 மறத்தலின் ஊங்கில்லை கேடு.

Translation           No greater gain than virtue aught can cause;

                                 No greater loss than life oblivious of her laws

Example                A person who used to help the needy people and if he/she forgets to do or because    of  some situation they would not able to do it then that would be the worst thing  and they will be considered to be the vice person.

Tamil                    ஒல்லும் வகையான் அறவினை ஓவாதே 

                                 செல்லும்வாய் எல்லாஞ் செயல்.

Translation        To finish virtue's work with ceaseless effort strive,

                                What way thou may'st, where'er thou see'st the work may thrive.

Example,              It is huge crowd in a railway situation and you find people are busy in there own work and unable to find time to see a old lady asking for help, it was a small boy who had seen this for very long time. Later seeing these people he had volunteer himself to help her. Don't think what others will think about you try to do help others in all the situation.

Tamil                      மனத்துக்கண் மாசிலன் ஆதல் அனைத்தறன் 

                                 ஆகுல நீர பிற.

Translation            Spotless be thou in mind! This only merits virtue's name;

                              All else, mere pomp of idle sound, no real worth can claim.

Example              They are two different kind of people one who look bad but as good helping tendency

and the other one has good look but not the helping tendency for others. the second person does everything for the sake for attracting people but the first one does help spontaneously without any hesitation.

Tamil               அழுக்காறு அவாவெகுளி இன்னாச்சொல் நான்கும் 

                            இழுக்கா இயன்றது அறம்.

  

Translation      'Tis virtue when, his footsteps sliding not through envy, wrath,

                        Lust, evil speech-these four, man onwards moves in ordered path.

Example          A person has a bad habit if he as a following list said a saint after hearing this people     huge amount of people in the crowd is jealous of other thing like( jewellery, saree and       so on), and other ones want to god is countless whatever she see, she think she will have it, wife is angry when her husband does not listen to her words and the other person who seated out involved in fight and started to use abusive words. If a person as anything out of this four they will not have any virtue in their life.
